This beautiful garden is near to university campus. It is very peaceful and full of colorful flowers. Loved it.

Always worth a visit, but apparently it's not open past the ridiculous hour of 8 PM..the point at which the city within the land of the sun, our very own Fairbanks, rolls all the sidewalks up and shutters all the windows for the night. I'm not sure why it would even be closed; walking about the grounds required no services rendered by others. Nonetheless, security politely but firmly showed us the door around 10 PM . Or rather the gate, as the case may be The Gardens during this part of the short summer season are absolutely blazing with flowers and all manner of other types of plants there is usually a fairly complicated Siberian pea plant maze on the grounds, but we didn't walk that far so I didn't see if it was up I'm not sure if one pays to enter the gardens when they are open for foot traffic, as I recall,donations are suggested Lovely grounds, suitable for the entire family… Which is another reason they should keep it open all night long; it's a delightfully quiet walk through the pathways of the garden at night when it is not full of the noises people make.

A great place to walk around and immersed yourself with nature. Definitely a plus for your kids to experience nature. So much to see, learn and experience. There are areas for picnic. Wear comfortable shoes and bug spray. The mosquitos were bad on my visit.

Appeared to be a lot of weeds. The flowers were very nice.

Great place to spend a couple of minutes or the whole day. Loved all the variety of flowers and berries. The experimental farming for the cold climate was very informative on how the university is working with the high latitudes and long sunlight. Good place for kids!
